Basketball Recap: St. John XXIII Takes a Loss

St. John XXIII lost against Concordia Lutheran back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The contest between the St. John XXIII Lions and the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders didn't end well, with the St. John XXIII Lions falling 38-19. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1009th, while the Crusaders are ranked 457th).

St. John XXIII has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Concordia Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 18-10.

St. John XXIII wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 68-29 defeat against St. Pius X on the 31st. Concordia Lutheran has also already played their next contest, a 42-22 victory against St. Agnes Academy on the 31st.
