Soccer Recap: Napoleon Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Napoleon and Maumee, and Maumee kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Thursday. Napoleon were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Maumee apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Napoleon's goal came courtesy of Skyler Khamphaeng, who's now up to three this season.

Napoleon's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-2. As for Maumee, they pushed their record up to 14-4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Napoleon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maumee, they will be taking part in a tournament against Ross at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Maumee will be up against Ross' rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.17 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
