Flag Football Recap: North Monterey County Comes Up Short Despite Nalani Mendoza's Big Defensive Game + How To Watch

North Monterey County fell victim to Soledad and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aztecs. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, the Condors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Even if they lost, North Monterey County's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Nalani Mendoza. She also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 14.

North Monterey County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Soledad, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
