Recap: Bowsher BlueRacers vs. Springfield Blue Devils

The Bowsher BlueRacers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Springfield by a score of 60-58. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bowsher in their matchups with Springfield: they've now lost four in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Aaron Adams, who scored 17 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Pope, who scored 11 points along with five assists.

Bowsher has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Springfield, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bowsher will challenge Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Springfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Waite at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waite comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
