Volleyball Recap: Centaurus Comes Up Short

Centaurus suffered their biggest defeat since April 8th on Thursday. They came up short against the Poudre Impalas, falling 3-0.

While Centaurus ultimately came up short, they really made Poudre work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 26-24.

Centaurus' loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Poudre, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Centaurus will take on Legacy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Poudre, they will face off against Eagle Ridge Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Impalas are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
