Volleyball Game Preview: Pentucket Regional vs. Triton Regional Vikings

Pentucket Regional will face off against the Triton Regional Vikings at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Pentucket Regional came up short against North Reading and fell 3-1. Pentucket Regional has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 18-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Triton Regional also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Hamilton-Wenham Regional by a score of 3-1.

Triton Regional started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-13.

Pentucket Regional now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Triton Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Pentucket Regional took their win against Triton Regional when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will Pentucket Regional repeat their success, or does Triton Regional has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
