Baseball Recap: Lick-Wilmerding Takes a Loss

After soaring to 19 runs the game before, Lick-Wilmerding was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They came up short against The Bay School Breakers, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Breakers: they've now lost three in a row.

Lick-Wilmerding saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kian Perrone, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lick-Wilmerding fell to 3-1. As for The Bay School, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lick-Wilmerding will challenge St. Helena at 4:00 p.m. on March 13th. As for The Bay School, they will square off against Design Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in The Bay School's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
