Football Game Preview: Freedom Patriots vs. Oak Ridge Pioneers

The Freedom Patriots will take on the Oak Ridge Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Freedom hasn't scored more than seven points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Freedom's offense might be in the hot seat on Tuesday considering what happened against Timber Creek on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 25-0. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 164th, while the Wolves are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, Oak Ridge came into Monday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Tohopekaliga with a 12-6 victory on Monday.

Oak Ridge's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Freedom, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Everything came up roses for Freedom against Oak Ridge in their previous matchup back in March, as the squad secured a 38-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
