Baseball Recap: McCall-Donnelly Takes a Loss

McCall-Donnelly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 26-0 to the Cole Valley Christian Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vandals of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

McCall-Donnelly saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Naugle, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

McCall-Donnelly's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cole Valley Christian, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chargers beat McCall-Donnelly by a score of 18-0 later that day.
