Football Recap: Arapahoe Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Arapahoe's offense. They had to suffer through a 56-0 loss at the hands of the Cherry Creek Bruins. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Theo Lee threw for 40 yards on ten of 16 attempts. On the ground, Jayden Tackitt rushed for 32 yards.

Arapahoe now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Cherry Creek, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Arapahoe is set to square off against their familiar foe Smoky Hill at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. Meanwhile, Cherry Creek will take on rival Eaglecrest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bruins 10.1, the Raptors 10.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
