Basketball Recap: Diamond Ranch Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Diamond Ranch took on Chaffey on Friday. The Diamond Ranch Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to the Chaffey Tigers. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Diamond Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Chaffey, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Diamond Ranch will face off against Montclair at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaffey, they will take on Don Lugo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Chaffey has won three straight at home, while Don Lugo won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
