Basketball Recap: Tippecanoe Valley Vikings vs. Culver Academies Eagles
Tippecanoe Valley was the 56-33 winner over Culver Academies when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tippecanoe Valley Vikings fell 41-34 to the Culver Academies Eagles on Tuesday.
Culver Academies found their leader in sophomore Kayla Herron, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for Herron. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimara Combs, who posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds.
Tippecanoe Valley now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Culver Academies, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Tippecanoe Valley will head out to square off against LaVille at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Culver Academies, they will square off against Fort Wayne North Side at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
