Monroeville lost a heartbreaker the last time they played New London, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Eagles put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 14-7 win on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Monroeville now has a winning record of 10-9. As for New London, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Monroeville and New London will both be playing Crestline the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
