Softball Recap: Jackson Jaguars vs. Pace Academy Knights
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Jackson's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Pace Academy Knights on Tuesday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Pace Academy, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson will venture away from home to square off against Forest Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Forest Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.1 runs per game this season. As for Pace Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Midtown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pace Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Midtown likes a good challenge.
