Volleyball Game Preview: West Wolfpack vs. Kimball Jaguars

The West Wolfpack will head out to square off against the Kimball Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Last Tuesday, West earned a 3-1 win over Lodi.

West had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-22, 25-22, 25-14.

Matthew Deleon had an outrageously good game as he had 25 digs and four assists. Those four assists gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Kimball came up short against St. Mary's on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Jaguars have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 23-25, 25-16.

West's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Kimball, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

West took their win against Kimball in their previous matchup on April 1st by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolfpack since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
