After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Heights, Warren was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Newton Eagles. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Warren was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-23, 25-22.

Warren was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Warren's win bumped their record up to 22-13. As for Newton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Woodville the next time they take the court. Newton will head out to face Woodville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Warren will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
