Volleyball Recap: Bell Blue Raiders vs. Timber Creek Falcons
Bell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Timber Creek Falcons. The Blue Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August.
While Bell had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-19.
Bell's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brooklyn Morgan, who had seven digs and 12 assists, and Jessalynn Hota, who had eight digs.
Bell's defeat dropped their record down to 19-14. As for Timber Creek, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-19 record.
Bell will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Keller at 5:30 p.m. Keller will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Bell surely won't give up without a fight. As for Timber Creek, they will challenge Keller Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
