Shawnee snaps three-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Shawnee Wolves vs. El Reno Indians

It was a good run, but the Shawnee Wolves unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 39-30 to El Reno. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Shawnee in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.

El Reno's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emmary Elizondo, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Pauline Black-harmon was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.

Shawnee's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. As for El Reno, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawnee won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Jets at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Western Heights comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for El Reno, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
