Softball Recap: West Memphis Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Memphis's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Nettleton Raiders on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 29 runs in the game before, the Blue Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

West Memphis has also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season. As for Nettleton, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-14.

Coming up, West Memphis will challenge North Little Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nettleton, they will square off against Batesville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
