Baseball Recap: Model Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Model's offense. They came up short against the Estill County Engineers on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Engineers: they've now lost three in a row.

Model saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Zerbee, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Model's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Estill County, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10.

Coming up, Model will welcome Burgin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Estill County, they will head out on the road to take on Lewis County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
