Volleyball Recap: Bell Takes a Loss

Bell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Gate Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Bell started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 15-11.

Bell's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for South Gate, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-6.

As of now, neither Bell nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
