Jacob Schmelzer Game Report: @ Norwalk

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Jacob Schmelzer: he recorded his first sack on Saturday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made ten total tackles (1.0 for loss), but sadly Warde still had to take a 39-32 loss at the hands of Norwalk. We hope Schmelzer's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Schmelzer and Warde will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ludlowe at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. Schmelzer had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in November of 2024 38-16. Could another big game from him be enough to change the outcome this time?
