Football Recap: Bonita Springs Bullsharks vs. Barron Collier Cougars
Bonita Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Barron Collier Cougars at home and fell 63-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bullsharks of the 49-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Barron Collier had a senior duo take command as Brian Williams threw for 279 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes and Brody Graham picked up 200 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Graham really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 86 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Hudson, who gained 102 total yards and two touchdowns.
Bonita Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Barron Collier, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.
