Soccer Recap: Spring Creek Takes a Loss

Spring Creek lost against North Johnston back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spring Creek Gators lost 5-1 to the North Johnston Panthers. The Gators just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Nina Zepeda, who's now up to three this season.

Spring Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-2. As for North Johnston, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Spring Creek will take on Eastern Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spring Creek has given up an average of 3 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for North Johnston, they will square off against Beddingfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Johnston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
