Softball Recap: Flathead Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Flathead's offense. They came up short against the Russell Rustlers on Thursday, falling 9-0. The Braves/Bravettes' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Flathead saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Conley, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Flathead's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Russell, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Flathead and Russell will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Flathead is set to challenge their familiar foe Big Sky at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Russell will take on rival Gallatin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
