Softball Recap: Palestine Comes Up Short

Palestine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Central Heights Blue Devils, falling 10-1.

Palestine saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Minton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Madison Slate also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Palestine now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Central Heights, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Palestine is taking a road trip to square off against Frankston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Heights, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-5 tie against Henderson on the 21st.
