Baseball Recap: Warrensburg-Latham's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Warrensburg-Latham was the 5-4 winner over Olympia when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Warrensburg-Latham fell just short of Olympia by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The loss put an end to the Cardinals' undefeated start to the season.

Kristopher Lawson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Dawson Waterhouse, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Warrensburg-Latham fell to 2-1. As for Olympia, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Warrensburg-Latham will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Lincolnwood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Olympia, they will take on Lincoln at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
