Volleyball Recap: Pueblo Centennial Comes Up Short

Pueblo Centennial lost against Grand Junction Central back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16.

Pueblo Centennial's offense was headlined by Celina Avila and Emilylynn Gallegos, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Sierra Montoya and her four assists. Samantha Salvador controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Grand Junction Central to victory were Delany Nostrand and Alyssa Logsdon. Nostrand had 15 digs and one assist, while Logsdon had eight digs.

Pueblo Centennial has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Grand Junction Central, their victory bumped their record up to 5-18.

As of now, neither Pueblo Centennial nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
