Baseball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Legend

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Legend). Everything went their way against the Eaglecrest Raptors on Wednesday as Legend made off with an 11-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Titans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Tyler Houston looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Colton Brush was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Ty Wold was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Legend always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Legend's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Eaglecrest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Legend will square off against Valor Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Legend is facing Valor Christian at the right time seeing as Valor Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Eaglecrest, they will welcome Prairie View at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Prairie View's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Eaglecrest's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
