Basketball Recap: Scobey/Opheim Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dodson on Friday, Scobey/Opheim came back down to earth. The Scobey/Opheim Spartans took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Circle Wildcats on Saturday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-38 back in December of 2024.

Scobey/Opheim now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Circle, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Scobey/Opheim does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Circle, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Nashua at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th.
