Soccer Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland and Buckeye Valley combined for 16 shots on goal on Monday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. The Fighting Scots came up short against the Barons, falling 4-1. Highland were not able to make up for their loss to Buckeye Valley from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Highland's goal came courtesy of Coleman Chamberlain, who's now up to two this season.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Buckeye Valley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will head out to face off against Lakewood at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Buckeye Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Marion Harding at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
