Flag Football Recap: Hill's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hill had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 14-7 win over the Aptos Mariners on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on three straight.

The critical scores for Hill came from Andrea Carrasco Fernandez and Quetzali Alvarez.

Hill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Jazmine Turcios led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Carrasco Fernandez got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Hill's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Aptos, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6-1.

As of now, neither Hill nor the Mariners have any future games scheduled.
