Crystal Lake Central extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Danny Spychala. The Tigers put the hurt on the Dundee-Crown Chargers with a sharp 40-20 victory on Wednesday for which the team can thank Spychala, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Spychala is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season.

Crystal Lake Central's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Dundee-Crown, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Crystal Lake Central will head out on the road to square off against Huntley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dundee-Crown, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Crystal Lake South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will be up against the Gators' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
