Volleyball Recap: All Saints' Academy Starts off Right with Win over Santa Fe Catholic + How To Watch

All Saints' Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks on Monday. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 24-26, 25-19, 25-15.

All Saints' Academy was led to victory by Valeria Castro and Riley Townsend. Castro had 11 digs and two aces, while Townsend had 11 digs.

They weren't the only good server: All Saints' Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 18 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Santa Fe Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, All Saints' Academy will take on Orlando Christian Prep in a tournament on Friday. As for Santa Fe Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tampa Bay HEAT on Saturday.
