The Merritt Island Mustangs will square off against the Eau Gallie Commodores at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Merritt Island will be strutting in after a victory while Eau Gallie will be coming in after a defeat.

Merritt Island barely beat Viera the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs blew past the Hawks 35-14 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Eau Gallie's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They took a blow against Atlantic, falling 48-18. While losing is never fun, the Commodores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Eagles are ranked 17th).

Eau Gallie's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Merritt Island, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
