Recap: Boys' Latin Charter vs. High School of the Future
It was a good run, but The Boys' Latin Charter unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to High School of the Future 14-8. Boys' Latin Charter was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as High School of the Future apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2016.
Despite the loss, Boys' Latin Charter still got an impressive performance from Semaj Carmichael, who rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown. Carmichael is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Boys' Latin Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for High School of the Future, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-3.
Boys' Latin Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. High School of the Future will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against John Bartram at 12:00 p.m. on November 4th. John Bartram is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
