Volleyball Recap: Firestone Falcons vs. Louisville Leopards

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jackson, Firestone was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Louisville Leopards. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Leopards, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Firestone was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-12.

Elijah Myers paced Firestone's offense, picking up ten kills. Myers got some help from Tala Paing and his 14 assists. Myers was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Firestone's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Louisville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
