Basketball Recap: Oswego East Has No Trouble Against Plainfield South

The third road match was the charm for Oswego East, as they earned their first road win of the season. They wrapped up 2024 with a 64-50 victory over the Plainfield South Cougars. 64 seems to be a good number for the Wolves as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Plainfield South lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zahira Edwards, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Tierra Abner, who had 11 points.

Oswego East is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Plainfield South, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
