Baseball Recap: Cathedral Prep Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Cathedral Prep lost to Harbor Creek on Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Ramblers walked away with a 7-3 win over the Huskies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ramblers.

Cathedral Prep got a great performance from Frank Thomas as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The dominant performance also gave Thomas a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

At the plate, Andrew Costello was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. He has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Cathedral Prep pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Harbor Creek, they moved to 7-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
