Palm Grove Christian had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Gulf Coast H HEAT with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Gators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Palm Grove Christian was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-21.

Palm Grove Christian pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Gulf Coast H, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Grove Christian will head out to face off against Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gulf Coast H, they will venture away from home to square off against Venice at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the HEAT surely won't give up without a fight.
