Basketball Recap: King & Queen Central Comes Up Short

King & Queen Central lost against Essex back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers fell 49-41 to the Essex Trojans. The Royal Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King & Queen Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Essex, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King & Queen Central and Mathews will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Essex, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Colonial Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colonial Beach knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Essex likes a good challenge.
