Basketball Recap: Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Takes a Loss

Vernon-Verona-Sherrill lost against Oneida back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils took a 57-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oneida Express.

Vernon-Verona-Sherrill has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Oneida, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Vernon-Verona-Sherrill has already played their next matchup, a 64-46 defeat against Holland Patent on the 23rd. As for Oneida, they will head out on the road to challenge Central Valley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Valley Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Oneida likes a good challenge.
