Volleyball Game Preview: Chardon Hilltoppers vs. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions

Chardon is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Chardon Hilltoppers will be playing at home against the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Chardon lost 3-0 to Mayfield on Monday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Mayfield scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin came up short against Cuyahoga Falls on Monday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-5, 25-6.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Chardon, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
