It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Belleville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Millburn Millers by a score of 8-5. The victory was some much needed relief for the Buccaneers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Belleville's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Millburn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Coming up, Millburn will take on Montclair Kimberley Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Belleville will be paying especially close attention to the Millers' game: after the Millers face off against the Cougars, they'll take on Belleville again at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
