Baseball Recap: Jordan Finds Home Field Redemption Against Mayde Creek

There's no place like home for Jordan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Mayde Creek Rams on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won five in a row.

Thomas Eugate tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jackie Bryant, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Jordan's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-7-1 when he doesn't). Jonathan Brooks also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
