Soccer Recap: Richwoods' Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

Richwoods won the last time they faced Metamora and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Redbirds. Given Richwoods' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Metamora are ranked 111th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Acosia Morris and Ella Meritt-Ahanda scored all three of Richwoods' goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.
