For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Imperials have posted since January 29, 2024.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 62 points the game before, Wilton/Wing was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They were outmatched by Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] and fell 78-19. While losing is never fun, the Miners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Cougars are ranked 12th).

Wilton/Wing dropped their record down to 6-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
