Basketball Recap: Iroquois Takes a Loss

The Iroquois Braves came up short against the Warren Dragons on Thursday and fell 59-48. The Braves were down 45-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Iroquois still got an impressive performance from Kellen Burroughs, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 13 boards. The game was Burroughs' fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Aden Satterfield was another key player, putting up two points in addition to eight assists, seven rebounds, and four steals.

Iroquois' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Iroquois won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Clarion-Limestone at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warren, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fort LeBoeuf at 7:30 p.m. on the 16th. This will be the Dragons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
