Preview: Oakesdale Nighthawks vs. Odessa Tigers
Oakesdale is 5-0 against Odessa since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Oakesdale Nighthawks will head out on the road to face off against the Odessa Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Oakesdale took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They breezed by Cusick at home to the tune of 63-28.
Meanwhile, Odessa beat Selkirk 40-31 on Friday.
Among those leading the charge was Melloney Deife, who scored 20 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Reegan Carstensen, who scored 8 points.
Oakesdale's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Odessa, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-0.
Oakesdale beat Odessa 56-48 when the teams last played back in March. Will Oakesdale repeat their success, or does Odessa have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
