Basketball Recap: Baboquivari Wins Going Away Against Benson

Baboquivari won the last time they faced Benson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Baboquivari Warriors enjoyed a cozy 67-48 win over the Benson Bobcats.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Domonik Villa, who went 8 for 17 on his way to 18 points. Kellen Deskins was another key player, putting up nine points.

Baboquivari has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Benson, they moved to 6-14 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Baboquivari wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-53 victory against Santa Rita on the 15th. As for Benson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-42 loss against Morenci on the 15th.
